Welcome!
My name is Brittany Johnson, and I love two things, video games, and dogs. For the past decade I have dedicated my work to multiple facets of music/audio. In 2017 I graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Music Education and taking extra classes in the Commercial/Electronic music program (CEMP). During my time in CEMP, I caught the love of audio by being a production mixer/boom operator for a week long senior thesis film. After my graduation, I spent two years teaching middle school choir, but I missed working specifically with audio. After saying farewell to my students I moved to Savannah, Georgia to pursue an MFA degree in Sound Design. Since then I haven’t looked back. I have worked on several student projects and worked part time as an audio engineer for a private school in the area during my studies.
After graduating in 2021, I accepted a position to work as an apprentice at Turn 10 Studios after completing a summer internship there, which turned into a full time contract, and now I work as a full time employee of Microsoft. I have spent the past 5 years of my audio journey not only making games sound great, but also how to put the user experience as the first priority within the sound space.
If you are interested in working with someone who has an equivalent love for game audio and dogs, fill out your information in the contacts section.
