Communication to Implementation, a SoundDesigners Guide to Dialogue in Game Audio
During my time at SCAD, I spent a lot of time learning how to script in Unreal Engine 4. I even dove myself head first into a Game Development course of making my own video game.

By doing this, I set out a challenge to take the game I created and use it for my thesis. My thesis, Communication to Implementation: A Sound Designers Guide To Dialogue in Game Audio, became a thesis for my past self-journey and for the journey of other students that would come after me. I had a passion for story, so I focused specifically on the implementation and the production process of dialogue in game audio.
This thesis can be found on the PDF below, or online at Millennium Web Catalog (scad.edu).
The first video below is the full game playthrough, the second video is my initial graybox for making sure my implementation would work in game before implementing it.
